About us
Pastoral Care
Pastoral care is generally defined as support offered to an individual when he/she is faced with a personal or professional problem or difficulty. It is important that help is sought by those facing problems at the earliest opportunity. Avoiding a problem does not make it go away it is just likely to get worse. SLG members should be reassured that help is available to them.
We fully support the Law Society’s efforts to provide advice and assistance to solicitors and trainees in need.
The Law Society Pastoral Care Helpline is there to help: 020 7320 5795.
A list of help lines can also be found on the Law Society’s website at www.lawsociety.org.uk/productsandservices/helplines.page.
If you have a problem we strongly urge you to seek help using these help lines.
Don’t suffer in silence - if you need help, just ask for it.
